“I’m just a goofy fella from Ramona who likes to hang around in the low end. When I was 11, I started on guitar but found a new calling when first handed a bulky piece of wood known as a bass guitar. I first thought, “what is this thing?” But as I learned more about this instrument, I slowly fell in love. My main influences on the bass have been players such as Ron Carter, Thundercat and Jaco Pastorius. As an aspiring composer/songwriter, my inspirations include D’angelo, Wayne Shorter, and Charles Mingus. I am currently pursuing a degree in global composition at SDSU. With that being said, I’m glad to be making music with the Honeytones”
