“I’m the keys player. I was always drawn to the idea of creating, and when I was handed a handheld audio recorder at the age of 5, all of the songs I sang- full of the heart-wrenching lyricism of a 5-year-old kid, got recorded and saved forever. At the age of 9, I sat down in front of my dad’s new keyboard with the intention to learn my first real piece of music. I took a detour from music when I was 10 and decided that I’d be a filmmaker, but I realized that music was the perfect creative outlet for me, and here I am. I’m primarily a keys player- drawing from influences like Herbie Hancock, Chick Corea, and unintentionally everything I’ve ever listened to- but I’m also a vocalist, composer, and am always exploring new avenues of creating music- like with Honeytones- and in pursuing my first formal music education at Grossmont College.”
