Christian Florendo

“I'm Christian, aka "C-Flo" the trumpet player. I started playing trumpet when I was 12, and now I study music at Grossmont. On my journey I've experienced playing many genres of music, but I'm mainly influenced by jazz, reggae, and latin. And some notable players that inspire me are Herb Alpert, Louis Armstrong, and of course the goat himself, Miles Davis. My ultimate goal with trumpet, and music in general, is to change peoples lives, even if it's just a by little bit. The small act of lifting someone's mood a little through music can do so much, and I'm glad I can continue to do that through this lovely band Honeytones.”
